WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words
The idea is pretty simple, every week you dedicate a post to the three W’s:
What are you currently reading?
What have you just finished reading?
What are you going to read next?

I’ve started Shanghai Immortal and am enjoying it so far. There’s a lot of world building in this first part, which I don’t mind, but I’m hoping the story will start picking up soon. I’m also about to start a buddy read of Vicious with Susan and Leah. This is one of the few Schwab books I haven’t read yet and I’m excited to give it a read.

Demon’s Reign was one intense book filled with beautiful and sometimes sinister imagery, immense world building and a great bunch of misfit characters. It did take a little while to get going, but by the end I was absolutely hooked.

These are the three books I have left on my TBR for this month and I have no idea which I’ll be picking up next. It will probably be a mood pick depending on whichever one I fancy at the time.

I think you’ll like Vicious! It’s wildly different in tone to her other books, but really really good. I just DNFed The First Bright Thing, so I hope you enjoy it more than I did!

Oh no! I’ve heard a few people say they didn’t love First Bright Thing, so I’ll definitely be going in with lower expectations i think. I’ve read a few chapters of Vicious and am definitely enjoying it so far 😊

Yeah, the writing just felt really clunky, unfortunately.
