Happy Wednesday! I hope you’re all having a great week so far. We’ve actually been treated to some sunshine and I’ve enjoyed going out for walks and just trying to enjoy it before it disappears again. The book I’ve chosen for this week is a slight divergence from my usual picks, it’s a re-telling of Pride and Prejudice set in 90’s New York that explores contemporary issues of class divides, family ties, cultural identity, and the pleasures and frustrations that come with falling in love… sounds good right?

When Elizabeth Chen’s ever-hustling realtor mother finally sells the beloved if derelict community center down the block, the new owners don’t look like typical New York City buyers.
