I’ve just started Thornhedge by T. Kingfisher which, at just over 120 pages, should hopefully be a quick read. Leah and I are also about to start our buddy read of Hell Bent and I can’t wait to dive back into this world.
I absolutely flew through this book. It’s peak enemies to lovers & wondrously slow burn, but the author actually focuses just as much on the fantasy aspect as she does on the romance, meaning we get a good depth of world building to book. I can definitely see this making my favourite reads of the year.
It’s time! This will be my first book by Lawrence, so I have no idea what I’m getting into, but it’s a book about books so I’m sure I’ll love it.
