This weeks TTT prompt was a genre freebie, so I’ve decided to spotlight 10 of my favourite Sci-fi books. Science fiction isn’t my go to genre, but it is one that I have been trying to branch out in over the years, and that I have found some favourite reads in. The below are a real mixture of sub-genres from journeys through the multi-verse, to climate fiction and beyond, and they all feature brilliant written characters, epic twists, space battles and much, much more. As a fantasy lover, I can confirm that all of the below are perfect for your first foray’s into sci-fi as a genre & I can highly recommend each and every one.

The Ones We’re Meant to Find by Joan He

The Space Between Worlds by Micaiah Johnson

Seven Devils by Laura Lam & Elizabeth May

Goldilocks by Laura Lam

The Long Way to A Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers
