Susan and I have started our buddy read of Death of a Bookseller & I’m enjoying it so far! We haven’t had our first chat yet, but I have a few theories I’m excited to throw out there. I’m also nearly finished with The Foxglove King. I only started it on Monday but I’ve found it nearly impossible to put down.
I really enjoyed this book. There is a lot of information and world building, so I’m happy to know there are books set in the same universe out there already, because I definitely feel like I need more to truly get my head around the magic system. I loved the MC & can’t wait to continue on with their story.
I love Chakraborty’s writing style, so I can’t wait to dive into her adult fantasy debut. Leah and I are also going to be starting our buddy read of The Golem on the Jinni, a book that’s been on both of our TBR’s for far too long.

Oooh…all of these sound great. I’m really enjoying reading The Foxglove King right now as well. I’m hoping to be able to pick up The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi pretty soon, because it sounds incredible as well.
