I’m currently just under half way through Seven Faceless Saints and am enjoying it so far. There is a lot of repetition, but I’m intrigued by the story & characters. Susan and I have started our buddy read of The Magician’s Daughter, I’m loving it so far even though it seems very different from Parry’s previous books.
Yes… you are reading this right. I finally finished A Day of Fallen Night. These books are just so intense and epic and filled with detail that they demand you take your time, and take my time I did, nearly two weeks of it. My review will go live tomorrow, but it’s safe to say I enjoyed it.
I really don’t know what I’m going to be picking up next, but I have these two romantasy’s on my TBR this month and I am definitely leaning towards one of these? Do you have a recommendation? Let me know.

Totally get that! I was the same, but I ended up flying through it… It is an absolute chunk though.

I requested The Magician’s Daughter and can’t wait to pick it up when it gets here! Glad you are enjoying it so far. Foxglove King is one I will start next week, probably!
