Monthly TBR – February 2023!

Hello, hello! the end of January if upon us, so It’s time for me to show you all the books I’m planning to read in February. Last month I managed to read 9 books, with two DNF’s, so this months plan of 10 should hopefully be doable. I’m still currently on track to stay a month ahead with my arc’s, all of these, except for Seven Faceless Saints are March releases, so I won’t be too upset if one or two get pushed back. Do you have any of these on your TBR’s? Or have you read any already? Let me know in the comments. Also, if you’re interested in any of the below, I’ve linked to the Goodreads page for them in the descriptions below.

I adore Chakraborty’s writing, so when The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi popped up on NG you can guess just how quickly I pressed that request button. The Foxglove King sounds right up my street and I really enjoyed Whitten’s previous dulogy, so I’m excited to give it a go. Dark Academia, smut, morally grey characters… Gothikana has everything I love. I actually hadn’t heard of The Bandit Queens until I read a friends review, but I just knew I had to get my hands on a copy.

I’ve finally got my hands on an ARC of The Magicians Daughter and I cannot wait to read it. I adore Parry’s writing so excited to dive into this one. Tor basically owns my TBR at this point, and The Lies of the Ajungo sounds like a Novella that I’m going to love getting my teeth into. Dragons…Romance, count me in. Chaos and Flame sounds amazing & will be my first book by both of the authors. I’m on a blog tour for Seven Faceless Saints and have been dying to get my hands on a copy since it was announced.

Susan and I will be buddy reading Death of a Bookseller, which sounds like a dark and intriguing read. Leah and I took a slight divert off our backlist buddy reads in January, but we’re back with The Golem and the Jinni which has been on both our TBR’s for far too long.
