Hello, hello! 2022 was the year of discovering new authors for me, so I definitely struggled narrowing down this list to just 10. From debut’s to simply authors that were new to me, I read some outstanding books last year and the below 10 authors absolutely blew me away with their storytelling. Below there is a great mix of prosaic and blunt, light and heavy, lyrical and simplistic writing styles, but they all fit perfectly with the story the author was trying to tell, and ensured all these authors would become insta-picks for me in the future. I’ve included the covers & blurbs for each of the authors books I’ve read, as well as linked to my reviews (just click the book covers) if you want to check out more about them, or see my gushing over their writing skills.
