This was a late addition to my Jan TBR, but I couldn’t resist jumping into this book, especially after the shocking ending of book one. I’m only a few chapters in, but am loving jumping back in and meeting our new POVs.
Leah and I buddy read this and it was so bloody good! Kingfisher brought her trademark wit to this story, but just made it really freaking creepy. We had so many theories, and plenty of moments that freaked us out, but we both really enjoyed it.
I’m really, really excited to pick this one up! I’m a huge fan of Chokshi’s writing and can’t wait to read her first adult fantasy.

I’m around 75% through now and it’s so good, just as dark and tense as the first book 😀

Hope you enjoy Chokshani’s book! It seems a bit out of my comfort zone but it looks/sounds so good. I can’t wait to read it! 😍
