I ran a poll on twitter because I just couldn’t decide between my next two reads & Godkiller ended up being the clear winner. I’m really excited to pick this one up, it sounds amazing & the first chapter definitely got its hooks in me.
This book has everything I love, history, mythology, a feminist retelling and I adored it so much. Gilmore tells the tale of Baba Yaga from an unknown and epic new perspective and I just loved following her on her journey filled with heartbreak, danger, love and family.
I’m still super excited for this one! Feminist fantasy, Egyptian history, magic… I’m 100% sure I’m going to love it.

Hahah I begged & begged until they finally gave in & approved me on Netgalley 😂. ( also I’ve finished it because I couldn’t put it down & it was SO good)
I’m starting Daughters of Izdihar now & super excited for it, I do love some feminist fantasy 😊
