I really don’t know what to say about this book because, as much as I’m loving it, it’s not at all what I expected. It is Penelope’s story, but told from Hela’s POV which means that we don’t get as much insight into Penelope as I would have liked. However, I loved the inclusion of the God’s and thanks to be being told from Hela’s POV we get to see just how similar both worlds are. I have around 100 pages left, but I do think this might make my top reads of the year.

This was a fun and easy read filled with brilliantly written characters, and the perfect novella for readers who love stories within stories. I will definitely be reading the first two books in the series!

It’s finally time for me to enter Hemlock Falls and I cannot wait! Bring on adventuring with Winnie and all the UghJay moments!
