Hello, hello! I cannot believe we are already in November. This year has well and truly flown by, and part of me is looking forward to seeing what 2023 brings. I had a bit of a meh reading month in October. While there were a few books I adored, the rest just didn’t hit the mark for me, so I’m hoping November will turn out slightly better. I have 8 books on my TBR this month, and I’m also hoping to get in one or two of my BBNYA reads. What do your November TBR’s look like? Have any of the below made your lists? Even Though I knew the End is a sapphic novella set in Chicago’s monstrous and dark underbelly and I am SO excited to pick it up. I haven’t read much about The Vermillion Emporium, but after reading the premise I just had to request it. A Restless Truth is one of my most anticipated sequels of 2022 and I cannot wait o start it.

Cruel Illusions is a pretty recent addition to my TBR, but it’s about Vampires so I’m sold. The Cloisters is giving big dark academia vibes and sounds like it’s going to be one twisty but brilliant read. I love Dennard’s Witchlands series, so as soon as I saw The Luminaries pop up I hit that request button.

Susan and are are planning to buddy read Cursed! We both adored Gilded and can’t wait to dive into the sequel. Leah and I are also continuing our buddy reads of backlist books with The Rage of Dragons. I’ve had it on my TBR for an age now, so I’m glad we’ve decided to pick it up.

I’m also planning on picking up one or two of my reads for this years BBNYA competition. I have some excellent sounding books to get through, so can’t wait to start my first one.
