I’m just under half way through this atm and it’s definitely starting to pick up the pace. I really, really love following these characters… yes, even the arseholes, and cannot wait to see where Blake is going to take this story.

Leah and I buddy read this, and we both ended up a little disappointed. The pacing was off, the author added in a new language style that just kept taking me out of the story and I struggled to bond with any of the characters. Safe to say we won’t be picking up the next book, but we both managed to knock it off our backlist.

I received a gorgeous finished copy of this from the lovely Nazia over at Orbit last month, and have been dying to pick it up. I’m definitely a little behind when it comes to picking up all the Greek mythology books out there, so can’t wait to dive into this one.
