Jordyn and I have started our buddy read of Small Angels & I’m around 50% through so far. It’s definitely got a creepy vibe to it, filled with folklore and mystery & I’m excited to see where it’s going. I’m also reading Daughter of Darkness, I’m about 60% through so far & am really enjoying it, the story is really intriguing and I’m 100% invested in Deina’s outcome, you’re gonna love her if you like morally grey characters.

I really enjoyed this book. It was blunt in places, but Miller took a time in women’s life that we don’t often talk about and made it sometime beautiful, something that changes us for the better not the worst. The mystery was well written and I loved all the characters.

Time for some more feminist fiction, this time in the shape of a dystopian thriller/fantasy. I’ve not read many reviews for this, but am extremely excited to give it a read.
