Susan and I are starting our buddy read of the Change! I’m roughly 25% of the way through and the mystery has just started to show itself, I’ve loved how the author has dealt with the issues we face as women, both externally and internally and am really intrigued to see where the story is going to go. Belladonna was one I was wary of because I didn’t love the authors first series, but it goes to show that it’s always worth giving a second chance because this book is amazing! It’s dark and creepy, with a brilliant heroine and a love story between her and death, I’m 100% invested.
I loved this book! IT was just so brilliantly written. with fantastic characters. It was witty and plenty steamy in parts and one of the best enemies to lovers romance arcs I’ve read. The only thing that let it down was the ending, but I’,m still super excited to get my hands on book 2!
Jordyn and I are planning to read Small Angels soon and, as much as were both wimps so a bit wary, I’m excited to give this one a read after reading some rave reviews. I’m also planning to pick up The Monsters We Defy. It’s got magic, heists, kick ass female characters… pretty much everything that guarantees I’m gonna love it.

So I just realized earlier today that Lauren Owen (author of Small Angels) wrote a vampire book I really liked ages and ages ago. SO THERE’S HOPE WE’LL LIKE THIS ONE. Maybe. 🤞🏻

I totally agree that Violet was one of the best enemies-to-lovers romances that I’ve ever read. Were they going to kill or kiss each other? I felt even they really didn’t know until the very last minute 😂 It was fire! 🔥 Also, I’m so glad to hear you’re enjoying Belladonna cos I’ve got that coming up on my TBR soon and I can’t wait to read it.
