I’ve just paused reading this because Dini and I have decided to buddy read it together! I’m at around 35% so far, so just waiting for her to catch up. I’m so glad we’re reading this one because I have so many thoughts already, and am happy I have someone to talk to about them!
Loved, loved, loved this book. It had it’s pacing issues in part but was just brilliantly written, but should definitely come with some triggers because there is some incredibly harmful anti-trans language and actions throughout the story. Lots and lots of pop culture references from my ere which I loved and the characters were all brilliantly written, even Helena, the bitch.
I’m going full on quirky Sci-Fi for my next read and am incredibly excited to start this one.
