Leah and I are currently just under half way through our buddy read of Babel and I think it’s safe to say we’re both loving it. Kuang has created a realistic portrayal of Oxford with the addition of magic and the characters and story instantly grabbed my attention. I’ve just started Her Majesty’s Royal Coven but am enjoying it so far. So far it seems to be fun and significantly lighter than Babel and I’m really eager to see where the story is going.
I polished this one off in just over an hour, and enjoyed it so much more than the second novella. These have been the perfect little stories to keep me going until Love on the Brain releases next month and I love how, although each novella follows a different friend, they all play a part in each others stories.
I am so excited to get round to this book. I haven’t read many reviews but the story and magic system sound amazing and I have a guess it will contain enemies to lovers romance… my fave!

I need to get into Ali Hazelwood’s novellas! I loved The Love Hypothesis so I’m so excited to read these.

Great to hear that you’re enjoying Hazelwood’s series. I’ve been waiting for them to come out as ebooks cos I’m so picky with audiobooks and I didn’t want to struggle with these ones, lol. Also, glad to hear that you’re enjoying Babel though I’m not surprised as it sounds incredible and all the early reviews I’ve seen of it have been stellar! Happy reading, Becky 😊

I really need to get round to reading Babel and I’m glad that you’re enjoying it. Hope that you enjoy The Darkening. I loved it and the three main characters are all amazing.
