Huge thanks again to Jordyn to tagging me in this fun book tag! I love all things Fae so am looking forward to finding books for all the fun prompts. Jordyn is such an amazing blogger and lovely person, so you should definitely go and give her blog some love.
THE RULES:
- Give credit to the creator of this tag – Jordyn Reads
- If you want to, pingback to the post you first saw this tag.
- And most importantly, have fun!
A FAERIE BARGAIN: Pick a book in which a character makes a bad deal / is blackmailed.

So, this isn’t so much straight blackmail / bad decision, more kidnapped and forced into a role, but when they could kill your family for not complying, that makes it black mail in my book!
CHANGELING: Pick a book in which a character is dropped int a new world.

I do love a good portal fantasy, and this series by Devri Walls is an all time favourite of mine. Filled with magic, monsters and unforgettable characters I can’t recommend this series enough!
WINGS OR MAGIC: Pick one or the other, and list three favourite books that include characters with that trait.

I’m a sucker for magic in my books, especially when it’s inherited in any way, which is why I’ve chosen the three books above. They’re all incredibly different reads with a mixture of historical, modern and urban fantasy, but they each have brilliantly thought out and developed magic systems!
ANIMAL COMPANIONS: Pick a book in which there is a talking animal.

This book is super fun and has a talking cat! well, ok… so he’s a man cursed to be a cat, but that counts right?
FATED MATES: Pick a book in which there is a mating bond / Pick a book with true love in it.

Going for the obvious one here, but I think Maas’ books are the only ones I’ve read that have ‘mating bonds’ in any way.
THE SPRING COURT: Pick a book in which plants feature a large role.

So, this has like a whole wood that plays a humongous part of the story, so that counts right?
THE SUMMER COURT: Pick a book in which the ocean or a body of water features a large role.

I feel like the clues kinda in the title here, but yes, the sea plays a rather large part in the book!
THE AUTUMN COURT: Pick a book in which fire plays a large role.

In case you didn’t get it from the title, fire plays a large part in this book with our MC needing to be able to control it to reign over her empire!
THE WINTER COURT: Pick a book in which a character almost freezes to death.

For the start of this book our MC lives in a place ravaged by The North Wind, cruel and unforgiving, it’s coldness kills crops and makes the land near unlivable, and more than one winter has seen our MC fighting for her life.
Thanks again to Jordyn for the tag! I’m going to be tagging:
Stephen / Sammie / Leslie / Elle / Kat
