Hello! I managed to read 14 books last month, some that I loved and others that didn’t quite hit the mark for me. I also managed to knock a few off my TBR for June, which is a good thing because I’m going on an actual holiday this month so wont get quite the same amount of reading time in. This months TBR consists of 10 books, a lot of them being chunks & if I manage to get through them fast I’m treating myself by starting my arc of Foul Lady Fortune which, if I’m being honest with myself, I’m impressed I’ve managed to put off this long.

I am SO excited to start This Vicious Grace. After seeing so many rave reviews from my US friends (It came out earlier there), I have so high hopes for it. The Ballad of Perilous Graves sounds quirky and is set in one of my favourite US cities. How epic does The Final Strife look? I haven’t read many reviews for this one, but I’m 99% sure I’m gonna love it.

Meredith, Alone sounds like its going to be an emotional read but one with, hopefully, a happy ending. Ordinary Monsters was described as a mix between The Umbrella Academy and Penny Dreadful, which was all it took for me to request this chunk of a book (It’s just under 700 pages!). I’ve loved the Prison Healer series so far and cannot wait to read it’s conclusion with The Blood Traitor, although I’m not sure my emotions are as ready as I am. I Hannah Whitten’s first book last year and am excited to pick up For the Throne. I’ve read some really positive reviews and an excited to dive back into the dark world she created.

Susan and I are going to be buddy reading The Key to Deceit this month. We read the first book last year and both fell a little in love with the MC, so are excited to see what mayhem she gets up to in this book. Leah and I are also going to be continuing our backlog buddy reads and this months pick is Goddess in the Machine. This will be out first Sci-Fi, and we’re both really excited to start it.

I am SO far behind on this reading challenge, only having read 3 so far, so I am going to try and play catch up over the next few months. June’s pick is The Goddess of Nothing at All, and I’m REALLY hoping I’ll actually manage to pick this one up because a few trusted blogger friends have raved about it.
