Monthly TBR – May 2022!

Hello! Yes, it’s that time of the month again where I talk about all the amazing books I’m planning on reading over the next few weeks. My April TBR veered off a little from what was planned thanks to a few DNF’s, as well as a few extra arc’s I was approved for and in total I read 7 books last month. My TBR for this month consists of 8 books including the usual ARC’s, buddy reads as well as my next 12 months / 12 friends / 12 books pick ( although I am seriously behind on this challenge so I’m hoping to pick up a few of my past books as well.) What do your May TBR’s look like? Have any of the below made your list? Let me know in the comments.

I’ve been on a bit of a romance kick recently and as soon as I saw the premise for Book Lovers, I just had to request it. Someone in Time sounds like it’s going to be quirky and has stories from some of my favourite authors, so I’m really excited to give it a go. As soon as I saw the cover for Twin Crowns I was hooked, then I read the premise and instantly pushed that request button.

I have a very Sci-Fi filled month in May, something I’m looking forward too & Mercury Rising sounded like the perfect, quirky read to give a go. I’m in a blog tour for this towards the end of the month, but I can’t wait to pick it up. Under Fortunate Stars sounds like it’s going to be epic and emotional all in one, and I am here for it. I’ve been dying to read When Women Were Dragons since it was announced, and I can see this being one of my favourite reads of the month.

Susan and I will be buddy reading Hotel Magnifique, and it’s a book we’re both incredibly excited for. I’m also going to be reading something with Leah, but we haven’t quite decided what it will be yet.

I can’t tell you how long Ruin of Kings has been on my TBR for! The whole series just looks and sounds amazing & I’m kinda glad I waited on this one because the series is ending soon.
