I’m about 75% through The Stardust Thief and am loving it! I love how the author weaves the tales from 1001 nights into her story, and the characters are just amazing. I can definitely see this making my favourite reads of the year.
This book was brutal and extremely angry, and I loved it. Watson writes utterly real and relatable characters and makes sure that she adds plenty of levity to a story that is rooted in anger. My first of her books, but it wont be my last.
I’m on The Write Reads blog tour for this one and am really excited to start reading. It sounds like it’s going to be a quirky read, with a unique magic system and I’ve read some positive reviews so far.
