I’m about 20% through this so far and, although it’s not quite what I expected, I’m loving the story. We’ve been kind of chucked in the deep end with the magic system, so I’m not 100% sure how it works yet but I am in love with what I know about it so far as well as the setting and the characters.

I read this book in a day. It’s such a fun, tension filled rom-com with a plus size MC, who never tries to loose weight or look different, which I loved. I think this is the authors first romance, but I will definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for what she writes next.

I love anything remotely Arthurian, so I jumped at the chance to review this. I think it’s a spin on the legend that I haven’t really read before, but I can’t wait to pick it up.
