WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words
The idea is pretty simple, every week you dedicate a post to the three W’s:
What are you currently reading?
What have you just finished reading?
What are you going to read next?

I forgot just how good this series is. It starts off with a bang and just gets weirder and more hilarious from there. I’m around 75% through already & only started yesterday but these books are just so easy to read and impossible to put down. I also love that it’s set near me, in Manchester, and I love that I can visualise some of the scenes in my head because I know the places it’s set.

Whoo boy was this book a little darker than I was expecting! I genuinely struggled to put this down, dragged into the story by plot twist after plot twist as well as some incredibly well written characters. Now I just need book two in my hands asap.

I’m really intrigued to pick this one up. I don’t think I’ve seen many reviews around for this one, but I do love a good historical fantasy, so I hope I end up loving it.

I’ve read the Embroidered book and enjoyed it. I think it suffered a bit because I had just read another book set in a very similar time and enjoyed the other one more. I’ve never heard of Castles in their bones so that’s another one for me to look up😀

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! I’ve specifically picked it up after my current read because they couldn’t be more different & I didn’t want two heavy reads one after the other lol. Castles in Their Bones is fantastic & definitely worth checking out :D… BTW What was the other book?

The other book was The Clockwork Girl by Anna Mazzola. It’s set a bit earlier than The embroidered book and I really enjoyed that one. It was a NG ARC again.

I’ve actually seen so many great reviews for Castles in their Bones. I definitely wouldn’t have thought it’s a dark story with a cover that gorgeous 😂 I’m pretty excited to give it a try! I’ve never heard of it but the Embroidered Book looks stunning. Happy reading!
