Hello! How fast did January fly by?!? It’s normally the slowest month ever, but this year it seemed to go by at warp speed. I started off 2022 on a pretty big high reading wise, I loved almost every book I read last month and here’s hoping that will carry over to Feb. As usual this months TBR is a mix of ARC’s, buddy reads & my next 12 friends/ 12 months/ 12 books pick. What do your Feruary TBR’s look like? Let me know in the comments.
How beautiful is the cover for The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea? I’m hoping the book inside will be just as beautiful and, after reading some really positive reviews, I’m excited to pick it up. I moved This Charming Man from last months TBR as I jumped on a few blog tours that needed bumping up, but I’m still really looking forward to diving into this one and re-acquainting myself with the characters. The Embroidered Book is my chonk book for the month, an epic historical fantasy I’m so happy it’s finally time to start this one. Extasia sounds creepy and, though I haven’t read the authors other works, I’ve heard really good things and am excited to pick it up.The last two are early March releases that I’m hoping to get to this month and I’m particularly excited for The Atlas Six because it sounds AMAZING!
Susan and I have had Bright Ruined Things on our planned buddy reads since last year, so I’m excited to finally be picking it up. Filled with familial secrets and forbidden magic, I’m hoping this one will be a hit. Leah and I are helping each other knock another book off our endless TBR’s by picking up Witches Steeped in Gold. I’ve read some mixed reviews for this one, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed we will love it.
12 friends / 12 months / 12 books
The Fifth Season has been on my TBR for longer than I care to admit, and after how much I loved my first pick, I’m 99% sure that I’m going to end up loving this book!
