I’m currently Buddy Reading this with Leah and we are both loving it so far. It’s started off nice and slow, managing to give us a good introduction to the world and characters, but now the pace is picking up & I’m finding it SO hard to stop at our allocated chapters.

If I could use one word to describe this book it would be ‘unapologetic.’ It was un-apologetically feminist, dark, and brutal and I was just gripped the whole way through. Iron Widow moves at a breakneck pace and is filled with plot twists that had be gasping out loud. Suffice to say I can’t wait to get my hands on book two.

I put this on hold last week and am now planning on buddy reading it with Susan. It’s been a while since we did one of out buddy reads and I’m really looking forward to diving into this one.
