Leah and I are buddy reading Lore and we’re enjoying it so far! We’re both a little in love with the characters, even if we find the history of the world a little confusing at times. I’ve also just started reading Under the Whispering Door, I’ve been told this is going to make me cry so I’ve specifically waited until I have a few days off before starting.
There was a lot about this book that I loved, but I did feel like the ending was a little too easy. Molly is such a brilliant character and she made for a funny, heart warming and sometimes sad read. She’s such a brilliant unreliable narrator and through her, the author managed to keep me guessing until the very last page.
I’m on a blog tour for this in the new year and I’m really excited to pick it up. The premise has really intrigued me, a sci-fi where people have Kindred which are a kind of mind-pairing. It’s been described as utterly swoon worthy and I can’t wait to start it.

Whispering under the door didn’t make me cry unless you count happy tears. I hope you enjoy it.

I definitely could happy tears, but mainly i’m just a weeper so I’m 99& sure it will make me cry at some point lol

Ahhh that’s good to know because I bawled at Cerulean Sea 😂. I’m really looking forward to the Kindred, I don’t read anywhere near as much sci-fi as I’d like & this one sounds great 😊
