Monthly TBR – December!

Hello! I can’t believe were nearly in December! I’ve been seriously slacking on my Christmas present buying, but I’m hoping to have it all boxed off by the end of this week. I only have a few December ARC’s on my TBR this month, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to get through a few of my backlist books as well. I managed to read 8 books last month & I’m hoping to get through a similar amount, if not more in December. What books are on your TBR for this month?

Buddy Reads

I am so excited to finally read The Liars Knot & so happy to be buddy reading it with Susan, because I remember desperately needing to talk to someone when reading certain parts of book one. Book one was so intricate, and ended on one hell of a cliffhanger so I can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.

ARC’s

I’ve heard some fantastic things about A Marvellous Light and it’s a book I’ve been excited for ever since it was announced. I’m a huge lover of historical fantasy with plenty of romance so fingers crossed I will love this one. Survive the Night will be my first Riley Sager book and, although I’ve read some mixed reviews for it, the premise sounded too good to pass up. The North Wind is actually a January release but I couldn’t resist adding it to this months TBR. It’s standalone romance/fantasy filled with enemies to lovers and greek lore… pretty much everything I love in a book.

Backlist Books

I think deciding what backlist books I pick up will depend entirely on what mood I’m in, but I’ve included a selection of the ones I’m really excited to get too. I also have a few series that I need to finish, so fingers crossed I’ll manage to add them in at some point, AS WELL a few more January ARCs that may get put in if I can’t decide on what to read.

BBNYA

I still have two books I need to read for the final round of BBNYA. I loved the book I read last month, and am really excited to pick the finals ones up.
