I’m currently buddy reading Jade Fire Gold with Dini over at Dini Panda Reads! It’s been a little slow starting for me, and I’m not 100% invested in the story or characters yet, but our stop point ended on a bit of a cliffhanger for one of the characters and I’m intrigued to see where it’s going.

My full review for this is going live tomorrow, so I wont say much except that it was an action packed and tense as hell ending to a fantastic duology. I really loved being able to return to this world with the characters that inherit it and hope some of them pop up in Williams future novels. I’ve also just finished one of my BBNYA 2021 books and it was SO GOOD! I can see this years competition being incredibly close.

I’m looking forward to starting this one! I loved the first book and am really intrigued to see where the author is going to go with book two. I’m also excited for more Mephi in my life because he is just the cutest.
