As soon as I got approved for the arc of Jade Legacy I messaged Leah asking when we could start our buddy read. Leah and I have buddy read this entire series & I’ve been so happy to have her to scream at. We read the first 50% for today and I can’t tell you how much has happened so far. This is one of those series that I will be recommending to everyone, and as much as I’m excited to see how it ends, I’m also really scared to finish it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this! It was reminiscent of fairy tales I used to read when I was younger, only a little darker and with more romance. The author does a wonderful job of bringing Everwood to life, as well as writing some complicated but lovable characters. My blog tour post is scheduled for tomorrow so I won’t say too much, but this is definitely one to look out for.

This is actually a late addition to my Oct TBR, but one I’m really looking forward to picking up. Described as Once Upon a Time meets Pretty Little Liars which, I wont lie, is all it took for me to request this on NG, I’m really looking forward to this fresh sounding take on well known fairy tale characters.
