I’m just over 50% into this at the minute and it’s shaping up to become and instant favourite, I love everything about it from the mythology to the characters. It’s snarky, sad and hilarious in parts and I’m really interested to see where the story’s going to go.

There were parts of this that I loved, but unfortunately the bad outweighed the good for me. Maybe I had too high expectations after loving Sorcery of Thorns but I just felt it was pretty badly placed and needed way more of a backstory/ description of it’s magic system.

After the ending of the first book I am SO excited to be finally starting this. Noni seems to like putting huge ass plot twists in her book, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us in this book.
