This weeks prompt was ‘favourite book settings’ and some of my all time favourite books are set in worlds that are based upon the one we live in. There’s something special about a story being set in a place you know you can visit, for me it ensures the story feels more real, and that I get more invested in the characters and outcome. The below books have perfectly blended their fantasy elements with the world we know and love, and every single one of them is amazing. Do you have any favourite fantasy books set in this world?
