What I’m Currently Reading

I’m treating myself to another Moreno-Garcia book this week. As much as I enjoyed Velvet Was the Night, this is more up my street. I’m really intrigued to see how she will tackle vampires (I’m assuming they won’t sparkle) and am looking forward to travelling to her version of Mexico City. It’s only a small book, 272 pages, but I’m sure it will pack a punch!

What I’ve Just Finished Reading

I’m SO glad that this popped up on my twitter feed because I would have missed out on one epic story, and a truly terrific start to a series. Filled with modern technology weaved together with traditional religious beliefs, it was certainly a unique read, brutal and times and to top it off had an enemies to lovers romance… what more could a girl want?

What I’m Going to Read Next

I’m really looking forward to picking this one up. I’ve read a few reviews for it and they all seem to be overly positive which is a good sign. The magic system sounds unique, and I’m all for a band of misfit characters, so fingers crossed I will love it.
