WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words
The idea is pretty simple, every week you dedicate a post to the three W’s:
What are you currently reading?
What have you just finished reading?
What are you going to read next?
What I’m Currently Reading

I managed to snag an ARC of this from a curse breakers giveaway on Twitter & after reading and loving (until the final book) her curesbreaker series, I’m excited to start this one. I haven’t read many reviews, and have barely started it myself but it sounds like it filled with rebellion and romance and I am here for it.
What I’ve Just Finished Reading

I’m going to be in the minority with this one but I just didn’t love it. Don’t get me wrong, it was epic but just a little too much straight historical fiction for me. I found the changes in POV a little jarring and it took a long time to get going, but Chen knows how to write morally grey characters that you root for with your whole being. I’m unsure whether I would pick up the sequel, even after the shock ending, but like I said, I definitely feel as though I will be in the minority.
What I’m Planning on Reading Next.

I’m really excited to finally pick this one up. I’ve had the arc for a few months now but just didn’t have the time to read it. It’s about a dyslexic Princess who has to take her sisters place and marry the Prince of a foreign Kingdom, only to find out someone from that Kingdom may have murdered her sister… and she may be his next target. I’ve not read many reviews but the synopsis has me intrigued.

I know 😭 and while I can appreciate it was brilliantly written, it just wasn’t for me. Thank you, I’m around 100 pages in and enjoying it so far 😊

I hope Defy the Night is a winner! I loved the first Cursebreaker book, but the other two were just okay for me. I was shipping Grey and Harper, though.

Me too! I sooo preferred Grey to Rhen so got a little annoyed when they tried to make him the villain.
