I’ve been 50/50 over whether to pick this book up but Meaghans review has convinced me to give it a go. It’s so obvious how much she loved this book especially the characters and dragons.
“A lot of my joy with this book is definitely due to the fact that there’s dragons. I mean, I run a fantasy-themed blog, and Angus the dragon, featured on my discussion post headers, is officially-unofficially the mascot. In my house, the more dragons, the better.”
Stephen is one of my favourite bloggers and a great bookish friend. I love reading his posts that are always well thought out and brilliantly written, this one being no different. Stephen talks about his reading so far in 2021 and managed to add a few books to my TBR in the process.
“I have been lucky to read some fantastic books in 2021 up to now, but due to my somewhat exacting standards I have only awarded one five-star rating. That was for Deity, the latest instalment in Matt Wesolowski’s exceptional series of mystery novels told in the form of true crime podcasts. The way the story was crafted was simply immaculate, and offered a compelling social commentary.”
Favourite General Bookish
I love this post so much! Sometimes I do struggle to find something to say on reviews for books I haven’t read, as well as other posts, but Yesha comes out with some great ideas that I will definitely be using in the future.
“We all agree, comments are most valued even more than views as it forms a base in connecting with book blogging community which is why we basically are here. It makes us appreciate what we do, time we spent in creating post, motivates and inspires us to keep continuing and make more quality content.”
