Friday Favourites!

Happy Friday! It’s Time to showcase some of my favourite posts from the last week. As always please feel free to take part if you want to.

The Rules:

  1. You have to highlight one review, one booktag/meme & one general bookish style post.
  2. Remember to link back to the creator of the post & include a brief description as to why you have picked this specific post.
  3. Link back to me ( mainly so I can find new awesome blogs to follow.)
  4. Tag 3 people to take part in the post next week.

Favourite Review.

Judith @ Chain Interaction – A Master of Djinn, P. Djèlí Clark – Book Review

Having just finished A Master of Djinn myself I can safely say I agree with pretty much everything Judith say’s, and reading her review just makes me want to read it all over again!

“The lynchpin of any detective novel is of course the detective so let’s discuss Fatma el-Sha’arawi.

Put simply I adore her.”

Favourite Tag/Meme

Lili @ Lili’s Blissful Pages – Life in Books Book Tag

I’m a huge fan of Lili’s blog and loved her answers to the ‘Life in books’ book tag! She also has the cutest cat ever called Page and I live for seeing pictures of her popping up on my Twitter feed!

Favourite General Bookish

Sam @ Literary Delirium – FIVE fantasy series I really want to read ASAP | AAPI edition

Not only does Sam’s post look amazing but it features some of my all time favourite series! She’s highlighting series she wants to read from Asian Authors and, though some of these are on my TBR, I have read and loved most of them… she has some amazing reading ahead.

“Okay so I actually did *technically* start We Hunt the Flame but since my reading has been all over the place lately, I haven’t had time to actually commit to it. The chapters I read were absolutely amazing though and we not one, but two morally grey protagonists so I’m super excited. Hopefully I’ll be able to binge these soon.”
