What I’m Currently Reading.
I’ve only read one chapter of this but I am HOOKED. It’s unbelievably atmospheric and I already love the MC. I can easily see this making my favourite books of the year, as long as it doesn’t scare me too much first.
What I’ve Just Finished Reading.
This one was slightly different from mine and Susan’s usual buddy reads but I had a lot of fun reading it. It was a light and heavy read and definitely a series I would like to carry on with.
What I’m Going to Read Next.
I’m so excited to finally pick this up. This will be my third book and genre by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, and if it’s anything like the first two I’m sure I will love it.

I’ve also got The Beautiful Ones on my to-read list! The cover is stunning and I adored Mexican Gothic so I can see it being a hit.

The Helm of Midnight is on my TBR! Glad you are enjoying it. How scary is it though? (I’m a bit of a lightweight when it comes to thrillers/horror so I’m a bit concerned about starting it)

Everyone I’ve seen who has read The Helm of Midnight has loved it, but it sounds so intense so I keep going back and forth on it. I’ll be looking forward to your review!

I’ve only seen good things too! It’s not overly intense so far but I’m only 15% in & I can definitely see it heading that way.

That cover for Helm of Midnight is awesome and terrifying at the same time! I’ve never heard of it before but my curiosity is definitely piqued (although you mention it being scary so maybe not for me then? Lol)! I still need to read Moreno-Garcia’s books (don’t know why I still haven’t yet lol) but The Beautiful Ones looks gorgeous! Hope you enjoy it, Becky 😍

I won’t lie, it is a little creepy but more in the serial killer dismembering bodies way than straight horror. I’m really enjoying it though. And yes to Moreno-Garcia, I’ve loved all her books so far & she’s even got me reading genres that I wouldn’t usually pick up 😊
