I am such a sucker for a pretty cover, but a lot of the books I read tend to have quite dark covers, so I did struggle to find 10 bright and colourful covers for this weeks prompt. The below are a mix of TBR and read books with the most beautiful covers that may or may not have been the reason I picked them up in the first place. Do you like bright and colourful covers? I love the covers you chose! Bright covers are so pretty and eye catching, even though I always tend to read dark or monochromatic books too.

Glad it’s not just me! I do love a bright covers but I think my dark heart prefers the darker ones 😂

I feel like fantasy tends to have darker covers (to match our dark hearts) while romances are often brightly colored? It’s definitely not just you!

Oh I love your choices, Becky! I don’t think I own that many really colourful books, but The House in the Cerulean Sea comes to mind for the ones I’ve read recently.

Thank you! Tbh I have a lot more darker coloured books than brighter, but I managed to scour my shelves for a few 😂. House in the Cerulean Sea has such a bright and colourful cover!
