Three Bookish Things- Book Tag!

Thank you to the lovely Georgia over at Lost in Neverland for tagging me in this. You should definitely go and check her blog our because she posts some amazing reviews and great bookish content.

I love the idea for this tag, even though I think narrowing some of the answers down to just three will be incredibly hard! Wish me luck.

Three Bookish Things Book Tag

3 Read Once and Loved Authors.

Hmm lets see. Zoraida Cordova, Samantha Shannon and Alix E Harrow are the ones that initially jump out to me.

3 Titles I’ve Watched but Not Read.

I tend to enjoy watching romance/contemporary films but never really reading the books so for this I would go with: To all the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Dumplin & Crazy Rich Asians.

3 Series I have Binged.

Haha I am a serial TV show binger so I’ll go with my most recent 3: The Mandalorian, Grey’s Anatomy & Bridgerton.

3 Characters I love

You would think this would be easier than just picking one, but it isn’t. Ok, Delila Bard from ADSOM, Numiak (the face stealer) from Below & Shae from Jade City.

3 Current Favourite Covers.

Oooh another hard one, here are my three favourite covers from recent reads:

3 Weirdest things I’ve used for bookmarks.

I tend to use bookmarks for bookmarks… I guess the main other thing I use are receipts or random bits of paper I find lying around.

3 Favourite Authors.

Another hard one! I’ll have to go with Victoria Schwab, Jay Kristoff & Silvia Moreno Garcia

3 Unpopular Bookish Opinions.

I really don’t think I have any except that I really didn’t mind the Shadow and Bone series, in fact I re-read it last year and enjoyed it the second time too. Oh also… I actually quite enjoyed Tower of Dawn and don’t think Chaol deservers all the crap he gets (don’t shoot me!)

3 Book Goals For the Year.

My goodreads goal is to read 75 books which I’m on target for this year, I would also like to read more diverse books and more books by POC & finally I would like to branch out of my comfort genre and read a little more sci-fi/thrillers.

That was a lot of fun to do! I’m not going to tag anyone specifically but if you would like to take part then feel free!

  1. Love your answers! I don’t think I’ve read any books from those authors, although I do have The Once and Future Witches on my bookshelf! I really liked Shadow and Bone when I first read it, and am going to start rereading it this week! I likde Tower of Dawn, but I think I wanted to hate it because of the cliffhanger at the end of EMpire of Storms!

  2. It was fun to read your answers. You’re not alone for Shadow and Bone. I enjoyed it. So far I have read only first in trilogy and it wasn’t as bad as people were saying. I think they are comparing it more to Six of Crows or must have read that first.

  3. Ooh I love this – your answers were fun. Sometimes with tags I can’t narrow down one answer, so definitely loving the option to have three this time! I’d never be able to chose for covers though.
