Jack @JTHBooks – ARC book review: Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley

I’ve been eying this book up for a while but I will definitely be picking it up after reading this review! Not only did they love the book, but they think it would make the perfect series… Netflix… are you listening?

“The story right from the beginning was extremely intriguing. There were so many ways I could see the story going and it made it exciting to read. And it was all so detailed. Angeline really has written the perfect balance of character development, romance (yes there’s a romance that I thought was totally believable and sweet), mystery and action.”

I loved reading everyone’s takes on this weeks TTT prompt, but Robin’s was one that really stood out to me. Not only does she include some amazing sounding locations, but I’ve added a few of the books she mentions to my TBR because of how unique they sound!

Lisa @ Way Too Fantasy – THE EXPECTATIONS WE PUT ON OURSELVES AS BOOK BLOGGERS

I can definitely relate to this most, and I’m sure a lot of other bloggers do the same. We put a lot of work into something that we generally get no commission for & I blog around my full time job which can definitely get a little stressful. Lisa talks about all the different expectations we put on ourselves & it’s so relatable.

“I can’t speak for all bloggers, but I know the expectations I put on myself. I love growing my audience because that means meeting and interacting with new book friends. The work that goes into that is, however, immense. It seems like the minute you miss a post people start jumping ship. After all, there are a million other book blogs out there, why stick around if content isn’t being produced?”
