Friday Favourites!

Happy Friday all! I somehow forgot that I booked Friday off work this week so have a surprise 3 day weekend to look forward too. It’s going to be filled with reading as well as going for a nice long walk tomorrow and I just can’t wait ill things are back to normal and I can meet up with friends. It’s Time to showcase some of my favourite posts from the last week. As always please feel free to take part if you want to.

The Rules:

  1. You have to highlight one review, one booktag/meme & one general bookish style post.
  2. Remember to link back to the creator of the post & include a brief description as to why you have picked this specific post.
  3. Link back to me ( mainly so I can find new awesome blogs to follow.)
  4. Tag 3 people to take part in the post next week

Favourite Review

El @ El’s Book Reviews – REVIEW | All the Murmuring Bones | A.G. Slatter

I’m a big fan of El’s reviews, and have added a multitude of books to my TBR because of them. This one is no different. Her description of the book makes it sound amazing, and the perfect gothic fantasy to curl up with atm!

“All the Murmuring Bones is a gothic fairytale, and the atmosphere throughout is absolutely impeccable. If you like books that lean hard into atmosphere and vibes to create a sense of horror, you’ll enjoy this one.”

Favourite Tag/Meme

Laurel @ The Suspected Bibliophile – Top Ten Tuesday: Characters With Jobs I Want

There were some really fun takes on this weeks TTT prompt, but I really enjoyed Laurel’s post and how she not only focused on the jobs she would like to have, but also the ones she wouldn’t touch with a 10 ft poll (her words not mine.)

“Magical librarians! Yes, I absolutely want to be a librarian (or library assistant) in a magical library filled with dangerous things in the collection. How fascinating would that be?”

Favourite General Bookish

Neelam @ The Tsdondoku Chronicles – World Book Day – Favourite Fictional Book Nerds

I love Neelam’s blog and she never fails to highlight a great bunch of diverse books/authors. I really liked her idea for a ‘World Book Day’ post, and even managed to add a book or two to my TBR because of it! Also her pictures are just gorgeous and you should definitely check out her etsy store!

“I love seeing book nerds in stories as I feel so seen. And often these characters become my favourites in their series.”
