What I’m Currently Reading
Leah and I have finally started our buddy read! I’m only about 25% in atm but am really enjoying it so far, and liking getting to read from some of my fave POV’s from book one as well as some new ones. This series is very dense, but incredibly well written.
What I’ve Just Finished Reading
This was a fun and fast paced read filled with some great characters. I was a little shocked to read it was a standalone as the author ends on a bit of a cliffhanger leaving a lot of unanswered questions, but I did really enjoy the story… you can check out my full review tomorrow.
What I’m Going to Read Next
I received a copy of this from the publisher and can’t wait to start it! A steampunk, historical romance sounds like just the lighthearted thing I will need after reading Jade War and I’ve read some raving reviews so far so fingers crossed I will love it.

Wow, The Brass Queen sounds interesting! I recently finished reading a cookbook, you know I’m currently reading Jade War but also listening to the audiobook of Royal Holiday by Jasmine Guillory. Next up is definitely going to be A Court of Silver Flames.

I actually just started Brass Queen to read alongside our Buddy Read & I’m loving it so far. It’s really quirky with kind of slapstick comedy moments. Also, my copy of ACOSF came today!!! So I will definitely be starting that soon.

Oh Silver and Shadow has the most gorgeous cover ever! I’m currently reading The Bear King by James Wilde which is a fantasy historical fiction blend, but hoping to read Midnight Library by Matt Haig next – it’s been on my list for a while!
