Friday Favourites

The Rules:

  1. You have to highlight one review, one booktag/meme & one general bookish style post.
  2. Remember to link back to the creator of the post & include a brief description as to why you have picked this specific post.
  3. Link back to me ( mainly so I can find new awesome blogs to follow.)
  4. Tag 3 people to take part in the post next week :D.

Favourite Review!

Noly @ TheArtsyReader – #BBNYA #BlogTour Book Review: Ever Alice by H.J. Ramsay

I read Noly’s review and then instantly hit myself for not signing up for this blog tour! You can tell that she loved this book which, considering she is a huge fan of the original story, is definitely a point in it’s favour. I’m definitely going to be adding this one to my TBR.

“Something I absolutely loved in this ‘almost-sequel’ was that so many of the characters I remembered from the original story are now to be found in other characters. The author did this in a very fun and engaging way, and some people who are not as familiar with the original story might not even pick up on it! “

Favourite Tag/Meme!

Gee @ All things Gee – The Sunshine Blogger Award

I love reading these kinds of tags/awards because I feel you learn so much about the bloggers. Gee gets asked lots of bookish related questions as well as general life ones, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading her answers.

“Which one book/series could you reread over and over?

The Rivers of London series or maybe the obvious one for me would be any of the Sherlock. Okay I am aware it says one but also the Harry Potters okay I am done.”

Favourite General Bookish Post!

Tessa @ Narattess – Book Blogger Novel of the Year 2021

Tessa was a panellist for BBNYA last year and she has nothing but praise for the awards. She talks about the experience from both a panellist and an author perspective and mentions how excited she is for 2021.

“The panel group is absolutely amazing. We’re all supportive bloggers and it’s a great way to connect with like-minded readers. If you feel like you’re alone in the book blogging world, I highly recommend you sign up.”
