WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words.

The idea is pretty simple, every week you dedicate a post to the three W’s:

What are you currently reading?

What have you just finished reading?

What are you going to read next?

What I’m Currently Reading

I loved the Tearling series and so jumped at the chance to read the prequel. I’m only around 2 chapters in but it’s definitely got me intrigued, and I’m excited to return to a world I loved. Susan and I have finally started our buddy read of the gilded ones. I’m around 50% of the way through and loving it so far. The world and magic system are really unique and I really like the MC.

What I’ve Just Finished Reading

This was an incredibly fun and fast paced read. You absolutely don’t have to have read the previous books to jump into this series, Kagawa gives you just enough history to know who is who and what their backstories are. I loved Puck as the MC, he is incredibly witty and sarcastic and brought a levity to a dark story line I enjoyed.

What I’m Going to Read Next

I’m on a blog tour of Of Silver and Shadow towards the middle of Feb and am looking forward to starting it. Outlawed magic and revolution… sign me up. Also, Leah and I are hoping to start our buddy read of Jade War soon. It’s been put off due to both of us drowning in backlog arcs and work, but we’re hoping to get to it soon.
