Favourite Review
Kat @ The Lily Cafe – Book Blog Tour – Book Review: We Could Be Heroes by Mike Chen
I’ve actually been 50/50 over picking this book up for a while now but I have to say Kat’s review has convinced me to give it a go. Her review is really detailed and I love how it’s split into sections such as; Plot, characters etc. You can really tell how much she enjoyed this book and I instantly added it to my TBR.
“We Could Be Heroes is one of the stories I can’t get out of my head. Jamie and Zoe really did it for me. They’re brilliant together and the whole story tugged at my heartstrings in just the right way at just the right times. There’s incredible depth to two characters who have almost no history, who are thrown together out of need, and a deal.”
Favourite Tag/Meme
Hundreds & Thousands of Books – #TTT 26/1 – Top Ten Bookish Things I Hate
This weeks TTT prompt was ‘New authors I found in 2020’ but this blogger changed it up a little and went with bookish things I hate and there were SO many on this list that I, and a lot of book lovers/bloggers can relate too.
“You know when the cover is a photo of the actors from an adaptation? Similarly, I hate it when the front of the book covered by a big sign about how it’s going to become a Netflix movie. I don’t care – I’m reading the book”
Favourite General Bookish Post
Jasmine @ My Quiet Little Corner – All the mythological books I would like to read in 2021
I’m sure by now you all know I’m a sucker for mythology so I clicked so fast on this blog post to see what books Jasmine had included. Luckily for me a lot of these weren’t already on my TBR ( though they are now) and they all sound amazing.
“Greek mythology is a favourite topic of mine, and I love reading about it so much, but I also enjoy other mythology books, like in Children of Blood and Bone and The City of Brass. This list contains many Greek mythology books even if I would like to explore other mythology’s. Prepare yourselves for a long read.”

Ooh, really keen to check out the review for We Could Be Heroes. I love this title and have been intrigued by Chen’s previous books but have yet to try them.
