WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over on Taking on a World of Words.

The idea is pretty simple, every week you dedicate a post to the three W’s:

What are you currently reading?

What have you just finished reading?

What are you going to read next?

What I’m Currently Reading

I’m currently in the middle of another buddy read with Susan, this time for This Golden Flame. We’re only around a third in but I’m super invested and intrigued so far. I’m really liking all the characters and am definitely interested to see where the story is going. I’ve also recently started The House in the Cerulean Sea. So many bloggers I follow and trust have rated this highly and so far it is definitely living up to the hype. I’m only around 5 chapters in but I am hooked!

What I’ve Just Finished Reading

I loved this book! It was kind of a mash up of historical and contemporary fiction with some amazingly strong women and a mystery that brings them all together. I felt it maybe could have been a little darker, but Susan and I decided that was more to do with our dark souls than the actual story! It was really beautifully written and we absolutely flew through it.

What I’m Going to Read Next

I have blog tour posts coming up for both of these at the end of the month. Cast in Firelight is first and I’m excited to pick it up, even though I’ve read some mixed reviews. The Mask of Mirrors sounds brilliant and the reviews I’ve read so far have been raving so I have high hopes for this one.

  1. Aaah, you’re reading The House in the Cerulean Sea!!! I really hope you’re enjoying it or if you finished with it that you really enjoyed it! It was my favourite read last year and just thinking about it fills my heart up with such warmth! *squee* 🥰 The Lost Apothecary sounds SO good and I’m happy to hear you loved it. I’m currently reading Cast in Firelight and it’s still early days but I’m enjoying it so far. Hope you are too if you’ve picked it up! Happy reading, Becky 😃

    • I loved it so much! My review is just paragraphs of me rambling about how good it is & how much everyone needs to read it 😂. I finished Cast in Firelight yesterday & definitely enjoyed it, I love a bit of ‘idiots in love’ and it had a really cool magic system. I hope you enjoy it ☺️
