Happy Friday all! It’s Time to showcase some of my favourite posts from the last week. As always please feel free to take part if you want to.
The Rules:
- You have to highlight one review, one booktag/meme & one general bookish style post.
- Remember to link back to the creator of the post & include a brief description as to why you have picked this specific post.
- Link back to me ( mainly so I can find new awesome blogs to follow.)
- Tag 3 people to take part in the post next week :D.
Favourite Review!
Rejitha @ Bookbugworld – Book Review | A Sparrow Alone | By Mim Eichmann
Rejitha is such a brilliant and supportive blogger. Her review for the Write Reads blog tour is brilliantly written, and I love how she divides it into sections for narrative and plot/characters etc.
“True to the name, Hannah had been a lone sparrow all her life. And yet, it never breaks her spirit. Overall, I got immersed in this story with all its brutalities and wanted her to power through it all. The way it ended, surely would want to make you pick up the next book – Muskrat Ramble. I know I would. “
Favourite Meme/Tag Post!
Georgia @ Lost in Neverland – TTT: Most Anticipated Releases for the First Half of 2021
Georgia is a newish blog to me but I just love her posts! She also has a beautiful instagram which you should check out here. This is another post that had me adding books to my TBR, but I can’t complain because they all sound amazing.
“I enjoyed King of Scars more than I thought I would and it made me like Zoya which was a surprise as I didn’t expect to after Shadow and Bone. I really like the world building of the Grishaverse so I’d love to get back there as soon as possible!“
Favourite General Bookish Post!
Sammie @ The Bookwyrm’s Den – End of Year Survey || 2020 in Review
I just love Sammie’s blog! And shes also an awesome person to interact with and incredibly supportive. This post is very, very chunky. But it’s also filled with some amazing book recommendations… most of which I’ve already added to my TBR.
“I have to choose The House in the Cerulean Sea as the best of 2020, though, because it’s constantly on my mind. I’m not one for re-reading, but I actually read this twice this year (e-book and then audiobook), which is so rare that I’ve only done that one other time and that was with Illuminae.”
