Reading on the couch or on the bed?

Hmmm either I guess. I do tend to read more in bed but am pretty much happy reading anywhere I can get comfy.

Sweet or Salty snacks while reading?

Sweet all the way. Chocolate, biscuits… as we speak I have a packet of Revels open next to me!

Trilogies or Quartets?

I think it depends story to story. I’m all for a Quartet, getting to spend more time with the characters but the story has to fit it. If they just try and drag the story out it wont work, so sometimes trilogies are the perfect length.

First person or Third person POV?

Again I think this depends on the story. I do tend to prefer third person, but sometimes first person just works better for the story.

Night or Morning reader?

Generally Night. Although I work nights so my night is morning, but I do tend to read before bed rather than when I wake up.

Libraries or bookstores?

Bookstores, but only because my local library is teeny tiny and isn’t great at ordering books in. I just love wandering around a bookstore and browsing all the books, in fact my friends tend to do their best to steer me away from them when we go shopping.

Books that make you laugh or make you cry?

Laugh definitely, but only because I am a huge baby… I cry at tv adverts, so if it’s a book that’s going to make people cry I will bawl. Although laughing whilst reading has happened in a few unfortunate places like the bus/train and at work.

Black or White book covers?

Hmmm, Black. I just think that the colours pop a little more on a black background, as we tend to get some sparkly covers too.

Character driven or plot driven?

100% character driven. It could be the best plot in the world, but if I don’t bond with the characters I’m likely not to enjoy the book.
