Happy Friday! Time to showcase some of my favourite posts from the last week. As always please feel free to take part if you want to.
- You have to highlight one review, one booktag/meme & one general bookish style post.
- Remember to link back to the creator of the post & include a brief description as to why you have picked this specific post.
- Link back to me ( mainly so I can find new awesome blogs to follow.)
- Tag 3 people to take part in the post next week :D.
Kerri is a brilliant blogger and a lovely and supportive member of the bookish community. Her review for The Poppy War is basically her screaming about how much she loved it, and those kind of reviews are some of my favourites. I actually buddy read this with Kerri and a few other bloggers and was so happy that we all loved it.
“Y’all. This book destroyed me. I was in such a book hangover after finishing it that I barely got through three other books in October. It was a struggle! After all that waiting, I finally realize why everyone was raving about this story!”
Favourite Meme/Tag Post
Sci-Fi is still a genre that I need to branch out in a little more and I added SO MANY of the books from this post to my TBR. There were a couple on there I have already read and loved, and some that I have heard of but never got round to reading. Eliza has done multiple of these blogmas style lists and I’ve enjoyed every single one of them.
“This Mortal Coil is insanely action packed and unpredictable. It keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time and I loved every second of it!”
Favourite General Bookish Post
Jodie is another amazing blogger and she never fails to get me to add books to my TBR. She uses this post to highlight some quotes she has read this year that have really stuck with her, and I’ve already added three or four of these books to my TBR.
“Some songs weren’t mere songs. They were memories curled tight and set alight. They made you heartsick.”– Stuart Turton, The Devil and the Dark Water”
