Friday Favourites!

Happy Friday! Time to showcase some of my favourite posts from the last week. As always please feel free to take part if you want to.

The Rules:

  1. You have to highlight one review, one booktag/meme & one general bookish style post.
  2. Remember to link back to the creator of the post & include a brief description as to why you have picked this specific post.
  3. Link back to me ( mainly so I can find new awesome blogs to follow.)
  4. Tag 3 people to take part in the post next week :D.

Favourite Review

Sifa @ Sifa Elizabeth Reads – Book Review: A Snowfall of Silver by Laura Wood

I hadn’t really heard anything about this book, and was 50/50 over picking it up, but Sifa’s review convinced me to add it to my TBR. She writes some brilliant reviews and bookish posts, and never fails to add books to my TBR.

The dialect is so British and perfectly spot-on for the time period. It’s a small detail, but one I love and it made the story so accessible for me. It’s really similar to my grandparents’ dialects and it makes it feel so cosy and warm.

Favourite Tag/Meme

Danni @ For Books Sake – The Outstanding Blogger Award

One thing I love about these tags/award posts is how much you learn about the person behind the blog. Danni is a brilliant and incredibly supportive blogger and I always enjoy reading her posts. She was nominated twice for this award and answers both sets of questions answering about her favourite book series and what she got up to over lockdown.

2 – What is your favourite book-to-film adaptation?

Tough question, because there are so many that I absolutely love. But, I will go with either The Lord of the Rings trilogy (The Hobbit movies were nowhere near as good), or Fight Club!”

Favourite General Bookish Post

Stephen @ Stephen Writes – Monthly Wrap-Up November 2020

Stephen is a fantastic blogger and such a supportive member of the bookish community. He writes some of my favourite reviews and also brings us some brilliant discussion posts, but his wrap up posts are some of my favourites. He talks about his reading for the month, as well as things that have gone on in his life and highlight some of his favourite posts of the last month that never fail to make me find new bloggers to follow.

December is also my busiest and best month of the year for blogging, as I like to publish a lot of posts looking back on the year. This is the first of 21 posts I have planned for the month, so do keep an eye out for them! All I know is that it is going to be super busy!

  1. Totally agree with what you said about Stephen and Danni! I always love reading their posts 😍 A Snowfall of Silver is a great title and I’ve never heard of that book before. Will have to check out the review 😃 Great post, Becky!
