Happy Friday! Time to showcase some of my favourite posts from the last week. As always please feel free to take part if you want to.
The Rules:
- You have to highlight one review, one booktag/meme & one general bookish style post.
- Remember to link back to the creator of the post & include a brief description as to why you have picked this specific post.
- Link back to me ( mainly so I can find new awesome blogs to follow.)
- Tag 3 people to take part in the post next week :D.
Favourite Review
Noelle @ Wordgazing and Magic – Seven Deadly Shadows – Courtney Alameda &Valynne E. Maetani
Have you ever read a review and just knew that this book would be for you? That’s how I felt after reading Noelle’s review for Seven Deadly Shadows. She doesn’t shy away from the negatives for this book, but you can tell that she thoroughly enjoyed it and I instantly added it to my TBR.
“I swallowed this story whole as if I was a student cramming for exams. The only difference is I kept going because I wanted to! Reading Seven Deadly Shadows was an enjoyable experience thanks to the rich worldbuilding and fast-paced plot.”
Favourite Tag/Meme Post
Leelynn @ Sometimes Leelynn Reads – Top Ten Tuesday – Thanksgiving Freebie
Leelynn is a brilliant blogger and a really supportive member of the blogging community. For her Top Ten Tuesday post she highlights authors she’s thankful to have met. You can really see the impact these authors have made of Leelynn both professionally and personally and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
“Amelie was one of the first authors that I got to interact with on a live chat through the TBR & Beyond Facebook group. I was so worried that the questions that I wanted to ask were going to be either too nuanced or just… not cool enough to answer. But she answered a lot of my questions, and I thought that was so cool!”
Favourite General Bookish Post
Katie @ Melting Pages – 5 Star Predictions
I love posts like this because I enjoy looking at books and just feeling like I will love them! Also, Katie just happened to pick some books I’ve already read and can’t help but agree with her that she will love them.
“These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong – I’m really hoping that the hype around this book is justified, because I’m really hoping it’s a 5 star. I love a good retelling, and this one is a Romeo & Juliet retelling which sounds amazing!“
